After 14 years, 26 top ten hits including 14 number one singles, 11 top 5 albums, 7 of which hit the top spot and have collectively sold over 44 million copies around the world, 10 sell out tours and countless memories that we will forever cherish, we today announce our plan to go our separate ways after a greatest hits collection this Christmas and a farewell tour next year.  The decision is entirely amicable and after spending all of our adult life together so far, we want to have a well-earned break and look at new ventures.  We see the greatest hits collection and the farewell tour as the perfect way to celebrate our incredible career along with our fans. We are really looking forward to getting out on the tour and seeing our fans one last time.

Over the years Westlife has become so much more to us than just a band.  Westlife are a family.  We would like to thank our fans who have been with us on this amazing journey and are part of our family too.

We never imagined when we started out in 1998 that 14 years later we would still be recording, touring and having hits together.  It has been a dream come true for all of us.

1. Dari semua anggota Westlife, ternyata Nicky yang punya nama paling panjang, Nicholas Bernard James Adam Byrne.
   
2. Ayah Nicky seorang pemain kabaret.
3. Selain fans berat Ronan Keating dari Boyzone, Nicky juga sering dibilang mirip. Makanya dulu jauh sebelum gabung sama Westlife, cowok ini pernah memanfaatkan kemiripannya tersebut. Jadi di sebuah acara musik bergengsi, Nicky mengaku sebagai Ronan Keating, sehingga diperbolehkan masuk oleh petugas. Eh, giliran Ronan beneran yang mau masuk, petugas langsung mencegahnya. Karena 'yang asli' sudah masuk. Yap, Ronan dituduh ngaku-ngaku aja! (Ha..ha..ha... Nicky lucu bgt sih km :*)
4. Waktu masih SD, saking kepinginnya nonton sirkus, Nicky pernah nyuri tiket masuk milik Colm, sobatnya. Sampai sekarang Colm enggak pernah tau kalau tiketnya Nicky yang ambil.
   
5. Waktu masih kecil, Nicky suka didandanin kayak anak cewek sama Mamanya. Dandanannya enggak beda sama Kakaknya dan Nicky kelihatan lebih cantik. (aww!! >w<)
6. Nicky pernah menjadi penjaga gawang di Leeds United. Menjadi pemain sepakbola adalah cita-citanya. Ketika usianya 15 tahun, Nicky memperkuat tim sepakbola Irlandia. Sayangnya, menjadi pemain sepakbola profesional cuma mimpi. Postur tubuh

1. Dulu, waktu luang Shane lebih banyak diisi untuk membantu cuci piring dan masak di restoran keluarganya.
2. Di Westlife, Shane termasuk pendiam.
3. Ketika masih bocah, Shane gemar membuat puisi. (Co Cweat :))

5. Shane ternyata belajar teknik nyanyi dari bokapnya. "My dad has a great voice," begitu katanya. Kalau bokapnya yang ngasih tau teknik nyanyi yang bagus, nyokapnyalah yang jadi pendorong Shane untuk terjun ke dunia nyanyi.

1. Dari kelima cowok ini, ternyata Mark yang paling banyak takutnya. Bayangin, cowok berusia 20 tahun ini paling takut kalau ditolak. Hey all…hope you guys are doing well?

Just dropping you a note to fill you all in on where we are {excuse the pun!} at the minute…

We shot our part of the Help For Haiti video this week in London…it was cool and very interesting to see how everyone will be pieced together..Kylie Minogue was shooting when we arrived so that was fun to chat to her afterwards...funny as I had her on my wall when I was 10! My first crush!! Tuesday was busy busy busy with the next stage of our tour meeting..and what a great stage design we saw!! It’s always nice to feel confident about what’s about to be built for ya and I think if we get this right it will be our best yet! If you haven’t already heard JEDWARD have been added to our support act for Croke Park show in Dublin on June 5th…will they bring Vanilla Ice?! Haha now that would be funny....! So Germany next week for official launch promo of our album, we shall be visiting lots of radio stations etc and really looking forward to seeing all our German fans…it feels like a long time! Jonathan Ross next week too!! I have wanted to do this show for years, I think he is one of the funniest guys around so that’ll be a laugh...! Well that’s it from me, it’s great to be back working and about to travel the world once again promoting our newest single and album..which like we have said before feels special!
